About the International Emmy® Awards

The International Emmy® Awards are among the most prestigious honors in the global television industry, presented by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, based in New York, since 1973. These awards recognize outstanding television productions created outside the United States and span a wide range of categories, including:
  • drama and comedy series,
  • documentaries and news programs,
  • children’s programming and short-form content,
  • telenovelas and arts programming.

The Academy brings together media professionals from over 60 countries, with a mission to promote artistic excellence, innovation, and international collaboration in television. The annual International Emmy® Awards Ceremony, held each November in New York, serves as the culmination of a year-long judging process and brings together the elite of the global television community.
