Milica "Mica" Radenović, a beautiful and naturally intelligent girl from the countryside, comes to Belgrade intending to sell vacuum cleaners—but instead, she unexpectedly becomes the nanny to the Maksimović family, a lineage of Belgrade architects spanning seven generations. At the head of the family is Konstantin, a rigid widower who, five years after the death of his wife Vesna, still struggles to establish real communication with his three children. With her rural mindset, honesty, and folk wisdom, Mica brings a revolution to the uptight Maksimović household—while also undergoing her own transformation. She stays true to her roots but gradually learns how to navigate the challenges of urban life and the social codes of Belgrade’s elite.
