The National Platform Serbia Creates and Telekom Srbija have signed a Memorandum of Understanding and begun a strategic collaboration in the field of creative industries through the SERBIA CREATES SCREEN platform, whose mission is the long-term international promotion of domestic audiovisual content. One of the key joint activities will be organizing the first Serbian "content" market, which will take place in 2025 at the creative-innovative center Ložionica. The SERBIA CREATES SCREEN platform will focus on the international positioning of Serbia through the promotion of all types of creative "screen" content—audio-visual production, primarily TV series, gaming, and music. In this regard, the first joint steps in positioning Serbia internationally have already been made with Serbia's presentation as a regional leader at the recently held Series Mania Forum in France, which gathered industry professionals from over 60 countries involved in creating television series.
Thanks to the investments by the Government of the Republic of Serbia, which are 130 times greater than 12 years ago, and Telekom Srbija, which has produced over 100 films and TV series in just five years, Serbia is the absolute leader in the region and a credible, equal partner for producers, broadcasters, and distributors worldwide. The strategic collaboration of these two influential players in the creative industries will serve as an additional boost for the development of the creative sector in Serbia through numerous joint activities, emphasizes Ana Ilić, acting Director of the creative-innovative center Ložionica and the Serbia Creates platform team:

At the same time, by combining expertise and approaching new markets, it is possible to influence the creation and development of an even more dynamic creative ecosystem in Serbia, primarily within the framework of the first regional creative industries center Ložionica, designed to fully meet the needs of the innovative business sector in the upcoming revolutionary wave of Industry 5.0. For such an endeavor, we need partners like Telekom Srbija, a leader in its field, with a clear vision of the future and a willingness to push the boundaries of our creativity and innovation. We have great ideas for joint activities in the future, especially within Ložionica."
Aleksandra Martinović, Director of the Multimedia Division at Telekom Srbija, emphasized that this collaboration will primarily benefit Serbia:

Through strategic collaboration with the Serbia Creates platform, we have gained new opportunities and further solidified our vision of positioning Serbia as an open country for global exchange of knowledge in creative industries. At the 'content' market, which will be held at the unique location of Ložionica, we will have the opportunity to bring trends, talents, and potential collaborations closer to all creatives. Special emphasis will be placed on the educational aspect, where Telekom Srbija will use its domestic and international experiences and contacts to transfer clear knowledge regarding the creation of series and films."
