“Hand of Justice” Moves Production to Buenos Aires

The first Serbian film to be shot in Argentina continues its production in Buenos Aires, the very city where this gripping historical thriller takes place. After successfully completing filming in Serbia, the team behind Hand of Justice, produced by Tracktor Production and Telekom Srbija, with support from the Film Center of Serbia, moves forward in shedding light on the story of Blagoje Jovović and his pursuit of justice.

Buenos Aires, a crucial setting for the film’s narrative, now also serves as the real-life filming location, further enhancing the authenticity of the story and the visual representation of the era. In collaboration with Argentine filmmakers, the production team is dedicated to faithfully recreating the ambiance of the late 20th century.

Filming in the capital of Argentina marks a significant milestone for Serbian cinema, as Hand of Justice becomes the first Serbian film project to be realized in this part of the world. The atmosphere on set, carefully selected locations, and period-accurate costumes ensure a vivid depiction of the time and events that shaped history.

The lead roles are portrayed by Aleksandar Gavranić and Zlatan Vidović, while the film is directed by two of Serbia’s most promising filmmakers, Nemanja Ćeranić and Nebojša Pajkić. The screenplay, crafted by Mirko Stojković, Strahinja Madžarević, and Nebojša Pajkić, guides audiences through a thrilling and emotional story of courage, friendship, and historical justice.
