The characters of Pelagia’s wreath are intertwined in business, family, (un)friendly and neighborhood relations that create their life and inner dynamics of the street. These are mainly middle class people who take it upon themselves to interfere in other people’s lives, to peek through their windows, to stick their nose into other people’s business, but when it’s necessary, in the moments of crisis, all the barriers are off, they show humanity, united against the common enemy- foreign invaders, investors and newcomers. Topics are various, an ordinary man troubles are in focus, but we also deal with engaging topics such as family violence, mobbing, juvenal delinquency, addictions) and daily current affairs. After the last Pelagia’s descendent dies, a new era in Pelagija’s street begins, but none of the residents doesn’t exactly know what the era represents. While their lives continue at light pace, new characters appear on the streets provoking situations, imposing new rules leading to a conclusion that after the death of Pelagia’s last descendent, their lives will drastically change.
