In the boiling city of Belgrade, a maniac kills three women in an extremely cruel, ritual way. The victims are united by a free-spirited easy-going lifestyle and the fact that they are mothers of sons. A sons who have no fathers. Children who refuse to speak. The series follows Inspector Nikola, a former hooligan, who has to face his dark past and all its secrets in order to discover a manic killer. The closer he is to the killer with the investigation, the more certain he is that something essentially connects him and the killer. This is a story of sin and lust, love and hate, a story of friendship based on crime and secrets. Nevertheless, this is a story about people who are both saviors and torturers, victims and executioners. At the end of the day, this is also the story of a city that is slowly sinking into the swamp of its past.
