This series begins on the morning, a day after Dragan and Viktorija’s wedding. The rubbish left behind is being cleared. Dragan is a competent hotel manager, but Branko makes all the important decisions; yet, the two of them work well together. However, on that morning, the hotel’s natural flowers were replaced with artificial ones, marking the start of the peasant transformation of this ancient building. Viktorija and her younger brother, Marko, are the cause of the crisis. They hail from some village, suffered greatly as children and now consider that no mercy should be felt. Beautiful Viktorija is extremely kind with everyone, while Marko is a villain. Viktorija made Dragan completely crazy about her, which was not evident prior to the wedding, as it seemed as though she had a positive effect on him. Castle hotel was her idea; Dragan is now behaving like a child, changing his image and getting tattooed; she “awoke the man” in him and he considers that she’s the only one who believes in him. Victoria is his Lady Macbeth.
