Velimir Čičanović, known as Čičko, once a favorite with girls, a sports guy and a charmer, married out of love in the fourth year of studies. He studied for another five years missing out on the right years for serious consideration of and creating a family. Losing his self-confidence, he ws switching political parties three times, only to find a job that won’t prove exhausting, falls into debt and joins the great army of losers. He blames “others”, “bad luck”, who have tricked him in life. Maja Cicanovic, his wife who also married out love, during her third year of studies. Among all who fell in love with her eyes, hair, and smile, and who wanted to grow old together with her, she chose Čičko. Love, of course. She even cut short her studies out of love and took a job out of love, but Čičko’s studies drag on endlessly, stretching beyond all “faith, love and hope” and along the way, they lost not only their love but also their mutual respect. She is yet another loser, who, blames someone else, but, on the other side, she at least knows who’s to blame.
