The Will of the Son is a cycle of epic poems from an apocalyptic future whose creator is a blind gusle player Nikola who's hiding his face. Through eight songs the gusle player is telling us a story about a small community of Grain people who fought bravely to win their freedom led by their hero Jovan. The blind old man travels through a desert with a boy guide. The two of them come across an inn where the blind gusle player sings songs from the Son’s Will to four bandits. They are familiar with the certain details from the songs, but they thought those had been myths created by people. In order to find out the truth they make the gusle player sing all the songs.
